Jay is a high school student at Rye Country Day School in Rye, NY. He is passionate about physics, computer science, and astronomy/astrophysics. I go to Conestoga High School and I am the class of 2024. As a member of the Gen Z community and a part of Promly, I am presented with a unique opportunity to effect positive change not only in my own life but also in the lives of countless others. Hi! I go to school at the Arizona College Prep High School, Class of 2025. I joined Promly because I have a passion for helping and teaching others. I love helping out in any way possible. In addition, I love technology and know this is going to be a great experience. As a teen, I can relate to app users as well as use the app effectively myself.

Hi! I am a senior at Rutgers University. I joined Promly because I like their mission! The idea that they're creating a social media for Gen Z and promoting mental health at the same time is something I really like! It'd be nice if I had this in the past.

Eliana is a senior at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is studying Public Health and Management, and is passionate about the intersection of health and communications. She enjoys baking, workout classes, and trying new restaurants.

Tyson Ross is a student at West Morris Mendham High School in Mendham, New Jersey. He is an intern and editor at the nonprofit organization Promly, which is working to combat the ongoing teen mental health crisis. He looks to create change through writing and service.

I’m at third year psychology major and French minor at SDSU with an interest in marketing. Currently, I’m involved on campus with a student-led newspaper and magazine. I’m passionate about mental health and finding solutions that work for everyone. In my free time I love researching fashion and finding interesting vintage pieces.

I’m an Environmental Studies major working towards a second degree in Public Policy at Rutgers University. In my free time, I enjoy activities like fishing, backpacking, and foraging. I joined Promly because I am passionate about topics such as sustainability and mental health, and hope to see forward progression in the future.

Emily Schweitzer (she/her/hers) is a senior at Tulane University where she majors in Psychology and minors in Business Management, with plans to have a career in marketing and public relations after graduation. Currently, Emily is working for Promly as the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator helping with all things social media and coordinating our college internship program!

I'm an undergraduate from Tulane pursuing a dual degree in Public Health and Anthropology and will be graduating in May. After graduating, I'm pursuing my Masters of Public Health in Health Policy. I'm passionate about survivor support, mental health, and increasing access to health care and resources.

Julia McEnroe (she/her/hers) is a Promly intern and in high school. She believes in Promly's mission and hopes to help make a change in teens' mental health.

Siani (she/her/hers) is a rising junior Student Athlete (Track and Field) at Marquette University. She is a double major of Psychology and Sociology with a potential minor in marketing. Beyond athletics, Marquette with the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Student Health Allies and Peer Educators, and serves as a research assistant. Siani also is s a content creator with her own Youtube Channel, and upcoming podcast. She plans to be a sports psychologist in the future, and likes to advocate for mental health, and student athlete mental health as well.

Michael (he/him) is a recent graduate of Robert Busch Michael Graves College Kean University. He is a graphic Designer with skills in UI/UX, illustration, Motion Graphics, and Branding. Before he got into Graphic Design, he started out drawing. A lot of his inspiration came from cartoons he watched on TV, like Spongebob, Ed, Edd, N Eddy, and a lot more. He used to draw silly comics in his notebooks back in middle school and in high school. He began uploading his art online and his style was heavily inspired from Anime and manga. He also loves listening to music. He listens to all types of genres especially rap and country. Between his passion for animation and music, he has thought about creating a virtual animated band like Gorillaz or Studio Killers.

Emilia (she/her/hers) is a junior in high school. In her free time, Emilia can be found playing soccer, painting, studying, and spending time with her friends. She is incredibly passionate about mental health awareness and is dedicated to reversing its harmful effects. 

My name is Grace Whalen (she/her) and I'm beyond excited to be a part of the Promly team. Gen Z mental health awareness has been an extremely important topic to me since I was young and I look forward to being able to share my voice. I'm a young Graphic Designer attending Ringling College of Art and Design and I love to express myself through my art work. 

Mason (he/him) is a Quinnipiac University student from Scotch Plains, NJ. Mason studies communications, marketing, and public relations at school and works to effectively communicate important messages to different audiences. In his free time, Mason enjoys going to the movies, exploring outside, and hanging out with friends and family.

Mia (she/her/hers) is a freshman at Penn State University studying Political Science with a minor in Sociology. In her free time, she likes to go to football games at Penn State in the fall, and spend time with her friends and family at home in New Jersey. She is also part of Alpha Delta Pi at Penn State and loves giving back to the community. She focuses on making herself and her friends be as happy as possible. 

Hi! I'm Sophia Bech-Hansen (she/her) I'm currently a junior attending Montclair State University pursuing a degree in Communications and Media Studies with a minor in psychology. I'm the youngest and only girl of three siblings with two amazing parents. I graduated from Voorhees High School in 2018 and studied two years at Raritan Valley Community College where I earned my associates degree in Communications. A fun fact about me is that I am Danish and can fluently speak the language! On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and during the week I am dedicated to my studies.

Hi everyone! My name is Brianna and I am so excited to be apart of Promly ChangeMakers! A little bit about me is that I just graduated college this May as a first generation which is super rewarding! I am from a very small town in New Jersey but the cool thing about it is my entire family lives there! From aunts, uncles, cousins from both my mom and dad's side of the family we all live in the same 2 mile area from each other. I am the youngest of three and we have a beagle named Gracie who I am obsessed with. I am an animal lover for sure! I also really enjoy working out, hanging out with my friends, listening to country music and eating french fries and ice cream pretty often! 

Jazlynn Chava Schwartzman-Crawford (She/They), attends Montclair High School in New Jersey as a senior. They are multiracial and fully express their proudness for them all, and they are also apart of the LGBTQIA+ Community. They are on the trans spectrum and identify as Bigender. They love to have a good time with friends, enjoy time to themself, road bike and go for a drive while listening to incredible music. They are a musician themself, and they primarily play the Alto Saxophone but are exposed to the Soprano Saxophone, Piano, Bass Guitar, and percussion instruments.

Sarah Marine is a 15 year-old who enjoys writing, dancing, and spending time with family. After living in Seattle and then London, Sarah moved to New Jersey in 2020 during the global pandemic and is tired of trying to be her "best."

Eve (she/her/hers) is a junior at Tulane University studying communications, management, and psychology. At home in New Jersey, she spends most of her time with her dogs Molly and Leo, and she also loves spending time baking, painting, or doing other creative projects.

Scarlett Campbell is a junior in high school. She has a passion for decreasing the stigmatism behind mental illness and advocating the importance of mental health especially amongst her peers.

Maddie is a junior at The University of Rhode Island and she is studying Journalism and Spanish with a minor focus in Gender and Women's Studies. She is from Long Valley, NJ. She is passionate about social issues such as discussion in gender, feminism, race and LGBTQIA rights. She focuses on well being in many different areas of her life from physical to mental. She loves to do yoga and meditation to keep herself grounded. She enjoys being creative in her free time, including painting or journaling. 

Laina (she/her/hers) is a senior in high school. In her spare time, you can find her on the soccer field, skiing and eating belgium waffles, or going on hikes with her dog Ella. As somebody with mental health experience, Laina wants to someday help others become the most authentic, happy, and genuine versions of themselves.

Neuroscience major at the college of New Jersey, Zach loves a long run, a good book, and some spicy thai food.

Pooja (she/her/hers) is a sophomore at the University of Maryland majoring in Finance. She is also a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity with the future aspiration of attending law school. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, and singing. She was a leader of a mental health organization in high school and has been passionate about spreading awareness since then.

Divita is currently a senior at MOT Charter High School in Middletown, DE. Through Girls Tech Together, her international 501(c)(3) non-profit, she advocates for equity in the Computer Science field. She is also the DE Technology Student Association State President, in which position she promotes leadership, technical skill development, and career discovery in the STEM field for 3000+ students across the state. As a Delaware Youth Leadership Network Peer Mentor, she helps cultivate a social entrepreneurship incubator for DE student leaders – currently, she is personally leading STEM Engage, a team working to provide high school students more opportunities to discover the broadness of the field. Outside of this, she is an active leader within her school’s chapters of National Honor Society, Girls Go Cyberstart, Student Government, and more. In the future, Divita plans on exploring artificial intelligence, social entrepreneurship, quantum computing, finance, and sociology, and applying them to create technology solutions for social good.

Michael is a first-year at the University of Virginia studying Economics. 

Genevieve (she, her) is a recent graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Public Health and majored in both Public Health and Political Science with a minor in Psychology. She is currently a post-baccalaureate student at the University of Vermont finishing up her pre-medical coursework. Her goal in life is to become a physician who advocates for issues surrounding maternal and child health and is involved in Public Health policy. In her free time, Genevieve loves to read, nap, and binge watch shows on Netflix.

Brendan is an intern at Promly and a sophomore at Boston College. He enjoys playing soccer, hiking, being with friends, and he loves dogs.

Michael Pyo is a senior in high school. He has three dogs (Duke, Dizzy, and Louie) and loves to binge Netflix. He is an avid fencer, writer, saxophonist, and advocate for mental health.

Juliette Banner (She/Her/Hers) is 20 years old and a sophomore at the University of Delaware. She grew up in Livingston, New Jersey where she attended Livingston High School. Currently, she is looking to further her career experience and passion for social media and digital marketing.

Clare is a sophomore at Lafayette College, majoring in neuroscience on the pre-med track. Clare is a member of the Lafayette women’s lacrosse team. She is from Madison, NJ, and in her free time she loves to travel, surf, eat ice cream and play with her dog Rocky!

Christina (she/her) is an intern at Promly. She is a student at Boston University and she wants to make a difference in the mental health world.

AJ Dansky is a senior at Tulane University. She is studying Psychology with a minor in Business Management, and she is very passionate about the Promly mission.

Cody Babcock is 19 years old and a sophomore at Claremont McKenna College. He is interested in finding solutions to a variety of sociocultural issues along with spreading awareness around mental health and healthy living. In his free time, he loves to cook with friends, play tennis, and learn new languages.

Charlotte Greer is a senior at Gettysburg College, where she is studying Sociology and is a member of the sorority Delta Gamma. She has a passion for community service and has gone on various service trips over several summers in a few different countries. She enjoys adventures and traveling and she won’t hesitate to try new opportunities- she has been to six out of the seven continents!

Kate is a senior at James Madison University where she is majoring in writing, rhetoric and technical communication and minoring in entrepreneurship. When she’s not doing homework or writing for her blog she can usually be found at Starbucks.

Maddie Morton (she/her/hers) is a rising sophomore at Holy Cross and has been an intern at Promly since November 2020. She is a Psychology major and loves working at Promly because she feels like she's a part of something that is going to change the world of mental health.

Carly is a model, instagram influencer, MSW student, podcaster, and founder of Paradise Fitness with Carly. She lives in Hawaii and inspires others to see the beauty in themselves everyday.

Ginnie Paris (she/her) is an advocate for climate change and LGBTQ+ rights. She enjoys eating the rich and writing these articles! 

Katie Greer (she/her) is a recent graduate from Trinity College where she majored in Psychology and minored in Writing, Rhetoric and Media Studies. She was a member of the swim team at Trinity, and a captain her senior year. Currently, Katie is working for Promly as a Marketing and Project Coordinator! She is planning to go to graduate school next fall to get a Masters of Social Work.

Lila is 19 and from Bernardsville, NJ. She’s really into music and helping others whenever she can. She loves being with kids, her friends, and her pets, and she’s very passionate about mental healthcare.

Katerina is a sophomore at the University of Florida. She enjoys photography, writing, social media content creation, reading, yoga, and wellness.

Jennifer has been a therapist for teens and young adults for 20 years. She specializes in treating high risk adolescents. Jennifer has been an assistant principal and featured on podcasts. She has also served as a board member and provides consultation with numerous schools and agencies, including Center for Humane Tech (“The Social Dilemma”) on best practices for teens and tech, 2020. Jennifer speaks publicly on a variety of mental health concerns; she most recently spoke to members of Congress about the harmful effect of YouTube’s suicide “how-to” videos. Jennifer loves TikTok dances, is a huge fan of Gen Z, and feels like life would be better if every room had a disco ball.

Jane is an intern at Promly and a fashion merchandising student at LIM College. She is a cupcake connoisseur and probably currently thinking about how to reverse climate change.

Rita Russo is a junior at Loyola Marymount University studying psychology, philosophy and English. In her free time she enjoys reading and writing, playing guitar, skiing, reading tarot cards and hiking. Rita plans on pursuing a career involving writing and editing. 

August Jay (they/he) joined the Promly Team shortly after the global pandemic emerged in the US. They care about creating socially-conscious material in relationship to a behaviorist’s lens. August will graduate from the Columbia School of Social Work in May 2022, and hopes to continue serving queer and trans people throughout their therapy practice.

Sasha is a junior studying at Drexel University majoring in Entrepreneurship and minoring in Sports Management and Graphic Design. He enjoys living through soccer, has an interest in tech, and is always looking for better design.

Chrissy is a Finance and Economics student at Lehigh University with minors in communications and entrepreneurship. She also enjoys her positions as an orientation coordinator and member of student senate. Outside the classroom Chrissy enjoys skiing, reading and cooking.

Molly is a senior in high school in NJ. She plays field hockey and lacrosse and works at her town’s cupcake shop. She is happiest when she is with family, friends, her dog (or watching dog videos), and eating cupcakes!

Chase is an intern at Promly and is studying Anthropology at Wheaton College. She has a slight obsession with buying flowers and plants for her room, and she loves the color yellow.

Julia is a junior at Boston College, majoring in Applied Psychology and Human Development with a concentration in Special Education and two minors: Restorative and Transformational Justice and Cybersecurity. She is from Summit, NJ, and in her free time, loves to watch movies, go to SoulCycle, and play lacrosse.

Abby is a fourth year student at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. She is completing a English/Psychology Medial with a Certificate in Law, and she joined Promly this past March. She enjoys reading and hanging out with friends, and she is on an inner-tube water polo team at school.
