Living the Dream – What is 20 by 20?
So, what actually is Promly’s 20 by 20? At its core, 20 by 20 is all about creating connections for you. Sometimes it’s easy to forget how disconnected we are in this connected world, and at Promly, we believe the time for better connection is now. Connection is the basis of human happiness, and with an entire generation ready to find healthier ways to stay connected, it’s your time to shine. You already have the capability to do great things, so let’s do this together with 20 by 20.
20 by 20 challenges you to achieve greatness in the real world. When you open the app, you’ll be asked to create a list of 20 things you want to do before your 20th birthday. Will you start a clothing brand? Go on an adventurous hike? Study with friends for the SAT? The possibilities are endless. The simple exercise of making your 20 by 20 is a positive way to understand yourself better. While you reflect on what your personal goals are, it’s no longer about what others think, but what success is in your eyes. Whether a simple task or a huge project, learning more about you is the goal.
Once you’ve filled out your 20 by 20, you’ll be able to share it with others (or not – it’s always up to you) and even create events to complete your tasks. So for example, you’ll be able to invite all of your friends to go cliffdiving at your local spot, if that’s what you love to do. The 20 by 20 aims to create connections through stimulating activities and shared ideas. Rather than looking through edited and filtered snaps of people’s lives, 20 by 20 helps you find shared interests amongst peers in your area and increase in-person relationships by necessitating action to complete your tasks.
We hope that you’ll love 20 by 20 as much as we do, and use it to its maximum potential. You already do great things, and now you’ll be able to accomplish these things with others. Finally, a way to be connected, but for real. We look forward to seeing you use 20 by 20 soon. Until then!
